101,744-Square-Foot Medical Office Building Coming to Houston

Commercial real estate firm Stream Realty Partners, in partnership with development firm AMD Global, LLC, is set to develop a five-story, 101,744-square foot, Class A medical office building in Houston, Texas. The building will be called Memorial Medical Pavilion.

A joint venture between Stream, AMD and Diamond Realty Investments, the real estate investment arm of Mitsubishi Corporation Inc., closed on June 6, 2017 on a 2-acre site.

Stream has chosen E4H Environments For Health to design the new medical office building. The project is scheduled to break ground in December and will be ready for occupancy in first quarter 2019.

Medical Office Building Under Development in Upland, California

Development has begun on a two-story, 56,000-square-foot medical office building on the San Antonio Regional Hospital campus in Upland, California, Healthcare Design Magazine reported.

Program management, design management and development services for the project are being provided by PMB. Additionally, HMC Architects is providing architectural services, and Millie and Severson will act as the general contractor.

Construction is slated to start during second quarter of 2017, and the building is expected to open in fall 2018.

Trammell Crow Breaks Ground on Medical Project in Maryland

Trammell Crow Co. and Meadow Partners recently broke ground on the Medical Pavilion at National Harbor, a five-story, 93,100-square-foot, Class A medical office building in National Harbor, Maryland, according to REBusiness Online.

The new building will house several clinical and medical specialties, including orthopedics, wellness and functional fitness, dermatology, primary care and an ambulatory surgery center.

EliteHealth Opening Senior Care Center in Sarasota, Florida

EliteHealth Medical Offices is set to open a 7,500-square-foot medical office for seniors in Sarasota, Florida, in August. The building will house eight exam rooms, a fitness center and more.

“When you consider that Sarasota has the highest population of people over 65 years old in Florida and one of the highest in the country, and with wellness and preventive models becoming more scarce, EliteHealth Sarasota has an opportunity to become a national epicenter of senior care,” EliteHealth CEO Steven Schnur said in a press release. “Our offices combine the newest medical technology offerings with a nurturing in-office experience, that is conducive to maintaining wellness. PrairieCare Opens New Medical Office Building in Minnesota

PrairieCare recently opened a two-story, 41,000-square-foot a medical center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, which will house PrairieCare and PrairieCare Medical Group, Healthcare Design Magazine reported.

HGA Architects, Ryan Companies US, Inc. and Pope Architects were all involved with the project.
