Kaiser Permanente Opens Three Medical Offices in Santa Cruz, California

Kaiser Permanente recently opened three medical offices in Santa Cruz County, California, to patients.

The offices include a 20,000-square-foot space in Scotts Valley, California, renovated by Kaiser Permanente for $6 million; a 9,000-square-foot medical office in Watsonville, California, renovated by Kaiser Permanente for $8.7 million; and a building that’s smaller than the other two and located in Santa Cruz, California.

Together, the offices staff more than 40 primary care and specialty doctors. All three offices offer primary care, including obstetrics/gynecology, including internal/family medicine, pediatrics and psychiatry.

The locations in Scotts Valley and Watsonville also offer laboratory, pharmacy, radiology and mammography services.

26,000-Square-Foot Medical Office Building Opens in Maple Grove, Minnesota

National designer, developer, capital partner, real estate manager and builder Ryan Companies US, Inc. and Park Nicollet Health Services recently announced the grand opening of the one-story, 26,000-square foot Park Nicollet Rehabilitation Services and Physicians Neck & Back Center in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

The retail medical office building is the most recent property built in The Grove, a 200-acre Ryan-developed, master-planned retail center.

Ryan provided development, construction, capital markets, civil engineering and property management services for the new building, while St. Paul, Minnesota-based BWBR Architects provided architecture services.

In the new building, Park Nicollet Rehabilitation Services is set to offer comprehensive physical therapy, pediatric rehabilitation, hand therapy, wound care and chronic pain services, as well as a large expansion of its sports rehabilitation program with the addition of video analysis and a full turf throwing lane.

Park Nicollet Health Services is part of HealthPartners, the biggest nonprofit, consumer-governed, health care organization in the country. Park Nicollet is an integrated health care system that includes Park Nicollet Clinic, Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet Foundation and Park Nicollet Institute.

Medical Center Opens in El Dorado Springs, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital’s new CMH El Dorado Springs Medical Center & Walk-In Clinic opened to the public on Jan. 3 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, the Bolivar Herald-Free Press reported.

The clinic will house family medicine physicians, family nurse practitioners, as well as behavioral health counseling services.

Other services offered at the new location include family medicine, well-baby examinations, obstetrics, injections and immunizations, gynecological examinations for women, annual physicals for adults, laboratory services, telehealth services, X-rays, minor office procedures, disease management and preventative medicine.

$18 Million Medical Office Building in Washington Nearing Completion

An $18 million medical office building is close to being completed in Port Angeles, Washington, Peninsula Daily News reported. The building, constructed by Kirtley-Cole Associates LLC of Everett, Washington, will house physicians’ offices, examination rooms, laboratories, urgent care and primary care clinics for Olympic Medical Center.

Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States Announces New 40,000-Square-Foot Medical Office in Virginia

Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States recently announced that it plans to open a new 40,000-square-foot medical office in Alexandria, Virginia, in the first quarter of 2019.

The medical office, which will be situated in a 100,000-square-foot building that will also serve as the new headquarters for the National Industries for the Blind, will be the organization’s first office in Alexandria. Once built, the medical office will offer primary care, laboratory, imaging, pharmacy services, optical sales and optometry.

Aurora Health Care Plans $130 Million Medical Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based health care system Aurora Health Care is planning to build a 100,000-square-foot, three-story medical office building and a 100,000-square-foot outpatient care center in Kenosha, Wisconsin, for $130 million, BizTimes Milwaukee reported.

The outpatient center is expected to house primary care, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation services, laboratory services, imaging, occupational health, a pharmacy and specialty care.
